## Migrate from `@nuxtjs/eslint-module`

[`@nuxtjs/eslint-module`](https://github.com/nuxt-modules/eslint) is a module for running ESLint checks along with your dev server.

Its feature is now part of [`@nuxt/eslint`](https://nuxt.com/modules/eslint), as an opt-in feature under the `checker` option.

```bash
npm i -D @nuxt/eslint vite-plugin-eslint2
npm uninstall @nuxtjs/eslint-module
```

```ts [nuxt.config.ts]
export default defineNuxtConfig({
  modules: [
    // Replace '@nuxtjs/eslint-module' with:
    '@nuxt/eslint',
  ],
  eslint: {
    checker: {
      // the options from `@nuxtjs/eslint-module` go here
    }
  }
})
```

You can learn more about it on [this page](https://nuxt.com/modules/eslint/recipes#dev-server-checker).

`@nuxt/eslint` also generates a project-aware flat config, and creates an `eslint.config.mjs` in your project if you don't have one. If you still use an `.eslintrc` file, we recommend you to [migrate it to flat config](https://eslint.org/docs/latest/use/configure/migration-guide), as ESLint v10 no longer supports it.
